| Once you have determined the
configuration of the basic Rose+Krieger Qube E linear
drive body (right or left, right and left, split
spindle) and you have figured the basic body size
18/30/40/50/60/80mm) and travel length (overall length,
you must then pick a motion clamp(s). Note: All right
and left, and split spindle units require 2 motion
clamps. Normally, these are both the same type. |
| Note: The
Qube E Motion clamps are modified version of the RK
Industrial and Block clamps as show in the clamp section
of this website. These clamps are custom machined to fit
the Qube E units, and are painted black. These are
always factory installed. The off-the-shelf RK clamps
will not work. If the standard black paint finish is a
problem, these clamps can be supplied in the standard RK
tumbled bare aluminum finish. |

Slide Bushings
| The optional Slide Bushing is a
delrin type plastic bushing that is machined into the
motion clamp hole and is mounted onto the Qube E
linear body. This bushing provides an even smoother
travel for the motion clamp over the standard Aluminum
clamp/zinc tube arrangement. The slide bushings require
machining and must be factory installed. |
