Linear Units EP-EPX Technical Description

A threaded spindle (5) with corresponding guide nut (6) which is supported between the guide tubes (9) transmits a rotating movement onto the guide table (7). The guide table of the linear unit EPX is composed of two guide tables connected by a connecting plate (8).

ACME Spindle Spindle: steel, stainless steel optional, 18-60 chased, 80 whirled version. Guide nut: RG 7. Medium speed range, self-locking, as an option antifriction or slide bearing.

Guide Tube Precision steel tube complying with DIN EN 10305 stainless steel tube complying with DIN 17458. Material: Galvanized steel. Tubes are additionally polished. Peak-to-valley height Ra=0.4µm.

Bearing Spindle bearing: Type 18 flange bearing 30-80 inclined ball bearing (sealed) slide bearing as an option. Guide table bearing: slide bushing.

Mounting of the Linear Unit
According to installation the linear unit can be mounted using the end element without further machining.
