A threaded spindle (6) with corresponding guide nut (8) which is supported in the guide tube (9)
converts a rotating (7) movement
into a linear movement of the
guide element (10). This is
protected against twisting by
a drive key (7).

ACME Spindle

Spindle: steel, stainless steel optional, 18-30, 60 chased, 40 rolled, 80 whirled version.
Guide Nut: RG7
Medium speed range, self-locking, antifriction or slide bearing, as an option
 
Guide Tube/-profile Precision steel tube profile complying with DIN EN 10305 stainless steel tube complying with DIN EN 17458. Guiding slot: angular deviation 0.1mm per 300mm. Tubes are additionally polished. Peak-to-valley height Ra=0.4µm.
 
Bearing Spindle bearing: Type 18 flange bearing, 30-80 deep, groove ball bearing sealed or slide bearing as an option. Guide element bearing: as an option: with or without slide bushing.
 
Fixation of the Linear Unit The fixation elements mentioned on this website as well as the clamping elements can be used for this purpose.
