Quad Linear Units EV/AV Technical Description

A spindle (3) with corresponding guide nut (7) converts a rotating movement into a linear movement. A guide table (Y axis) with a slide piece (6), which can be adjusted free-from-play, moves along the guide profile (4) which consists of a square profile with a prismatic guide along the sides. The axial slot of the guide profile is covered with a steel band. See drawing.

Acme Spindle Spindle: steel, EV 30-80 rolled version
Guide nut: EV 30 PA 6.6MoS2, EV 40-80 GZCuSn 12
Versions: right hand thread

Middle speed range, self-locking, antifriction bearing          

Guide Profile Extruded profile especially designed for these linear units. Material: AlMgSi 0.5 F25 EQ, clear anodized.

Mounting of the Linear Unit According to installation and application, the linear unit can be fixed with mounting clamps. These can be found in the mounting elements section.
