EVT-Z Technical Description

The timing belt (7) converts a rotating movement into a linear movement of the guide table (4). A steel tape (2) covers the profile slot thus protecting the guide unit
against dirt.

Guides Adjustable self aligning sliding bushings in polymer composite material with high resistance to chock loads and vibrations

Profiles Extruded aluminum profile with integrated prisms for guiding and slots for clamps and brackets for sensors and switches. Material: AlMgSi 0.5 anodized

Covering Tape For protection of drive mechanism and guidings, the profile is covered with a coverband in stainless steel. Magnet bands ensure the coverband is tight to the profile.

Bearings All bearings are deep groove bearings with pressed steel shields.

Maintenance

Shaft bearing: single-row sealed grooved ball bearing.
Guide table bearing: 4 sealed rollers (corresponds to a double row angular contact bearing).
