COPAS Technical Description

Back to COPAS Intro Page

Two parallel guide shafts (8) - connected to each other by two end elements (2) form the body of the linear unit COPAS. The guide table (7), guided on shafts driven by an ACME thread or ball screw spindle (5).

Material: AlMgSi 0.5 F25 EQ extruded aluminum, surface abrasive blasting clear anodized

Guide Tables
Material: AlMgSi 0.5 F25 EQ extruded aluminum, surface abrasive blasting clear anodized

Guide Shafts Heat treated steel, inductivly hardened, dragged and polished surface hard-chrome plated HRC63

Bearing Spindle bearing: fixation bearing (pin side): double-row, sealed angular contact bearing combined with axial grooved ball bearing.
Fixation bearing (loose) single-row, sealed grooved ball bearing
Guide table: 4 sections ball bushing with pressed seals.

Fixation of the Linear Unit It is possible to fix the linear unit to the floor due to bore holes in the end elements.
