Beam Tolerances

The beams in our Rose+Krieger system are manufactured and inspected in accordance with DIN 17615, Part 1 (Technical Conditions of Supply) and DIN 17615, Part 3 (Maximum Permissible Deviations). Apart from the straightness tolerance H, a maximum deviation H 0f 0.3 mm over a 300mm length is still possible.
In addition, to the straightness tolerance, wall thickness, twist, and form deviations are allowed within the limits stated in DIN 17615. Part 3 (see following diagrams using 40x40 beam.
Please note that our beams are normally manufactured to closer tolerances.
Beam Deviations

Twist:

Angularity: Parallelism:

Maximum permitted twist 0.7mm for
1 m. D profiles starting from measure 80x240, from 1mm to 1 m.

Maximum permitted angular tolerance 0.2mm for 40mm corresponding to approximately 0.29º

Maximum parallelism deviations from ±0.2mm
