With our aluminum protection and partition system RK Rose+Krieger has already gathered many years of experience in this field.
With the new GMS steel lattice mats protection system now we offer you a modular protection equipment which distinguishes itself by a simple, flexible and cost-effective assembly. The standard panels are simply fastened to the posts through a patented lattice mats holder. Hence, the panels can be assembled at any desired angle.
Hinged doors, sliding doors as well as a wide range of accessories complete the GMS system.

Features:

• standard sizes enable a modular structure
• different foot versions available
• special support for a simple plug-in assembly
• lattice mats holder premounted to the post
• RAL 7035 (light gray) powder coated steel lattice mats
  (bar 6 mm)
• mesh sizes 25/200 mm
• panels can be mounted at any desired angle

Modular System Components

The modular protection system GMS is available with standard distances between the modules. The specified width refers to the center-to-center clearance between the posts. The specified height with a 200 mm clearance between floor and lattice mats.

In designing the GMS all the norms applicable to protecting guards have been considered. In your protection the following norms have to be complied with:

• EN294 Safety distance to prevent danger zones being
reached by the upper limbs (see illustration below)

• EN811 Safety distances to prevent danger zones being
reached by the lower limbs (see illustration below)

• EN292 Safety of machinery, basic concepts, general
principles for design, bank terminology, methodology

• EN953 Safety of machinery - general requirements for the
design and construction of guards (fixed, movable)

• EN1088 Interlocking devices associated with guards
Safety distances (frame height 2000 mm) complying
with EN924 (upper limbs) and EN811 (lower limbs)

Proceeding

1) Project: the safety distance is laid down in
conformity with the corresponding EN on the basis of
a plan view of the machine or construction which has
to be provided with the protection system (see
    illustration above)

2) Planning Material Requirements: Choose the
desired lattice mats width and mesh size, Thus giving
the number of posts needed. In addition it is possible
to plan hinged and sliding doors. Note here that the
posts are already comprised in the doors delivery.

3) Choosing Accessories: Should you need for
instance safety switches or single components you
can select them from the accessories section on this
    website.
